Mark A. Weissman is a business litigator, with proficiency in complex commercial litigation, media litigation and intellectual property. He has represented and counseled clients from diverse industries in a wide variety of matters, successfully litigating cases from the pre-trial level up to appeal in both federal and state courts. His commercial litigation background includes experience in the areas of contracts, international commercial disputes, real estate litigation, arbitrations, shareholder disputes and derivative actions, Lanham Act and unfair competition claims.
His media litigation experience includes representing and counseling media organizations and reporters in the areas of First Amendment, defamation, court access, privacy, as well as trademark, copyright and technology litigation.
