Linda M. Brown has extensive experience in appellate practice. Since joining Herzfeld + Rubin more than thirty years ago, Ms. Brown has authored hundreds of appellate briefs and motions on a number of substantive areas of civil law, including products liability, municipal law, premises liability, personal injury, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage issues. Ms. Brown has written amicus curiae briefs for the United States Supreme Court and for New York State’s highest court, the New York Court of Appeals. Ms. Brown also interacts with the firm’s litigation attorneys on matters involving legal analysis and research, such as motions for summary judgment or trial memoranda of law, to assure a favorable result in the trial court.
