Neil Finkston is a member of the firm
and specializes in appellate practice. Neil has represented
clients – both plaintiffs and defendants – in cases
involving a wide array of substantive areas of law. Neil
has been involved in appeals in the lower, intermediate and
highest appellate courts in New York State. Neil’s practice
has included appellate matters involving municipal law,
medical malpractice, premises liability, toxic torts,
personal injury and commercial and real estate
transactions. Neil has represented physicians and medical
groups in litigation and has counseled hospitals in
litigation and on contractual, risk management and insurance
issues. Neil also has experience in pharmaceutical and
medical products litigation.

Neil is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, where
he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration/Finance. Neil received his Juris Doctor degree from
Washington University School of Law, in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was a
member of the Moot Court Board. Neil has been admitted to the Bars of New
York, Connecticut and the District of Columbia. Neil has also been admitted
to the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts
of New York.
