Flavia Mascolo

Flavia Mascolo is an associate with Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. in New York, where she represents domestic and foreign businesses in corporate matters and commercial transactions. Ms. Mascolo assists corporate clients (primarily Italian nationals) in the process of establishing their presence and growing their operations in the United States, advising them in a broad range of matters such as corporate structuring, shareholder and operating agreements, and other agreements including manufacturing, distribution, employment, consulting, licensing, non-compete and confidentiality agreements. Ms. Mascolo has also extensive experience in advising foreign and domestic businesses and individuals on issues related to the application of international treaties and conventions to commercial, corporate, tax and trademark issues.

Prior to joining Herzfeld & Rubin, Ms. Mascolo spent five years associated with a well-known law firm in Rome where she focused her practice on matters related to general corporate law, private and commercial litigation and arbitration.

Ms. Mascolo received her law degree from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". She also obtained a diploma in international relations and one in European Union law from the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI) in Rome, and earned a Master of Law degree specialized in Corporate Law from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York.

Ms. Mascolo is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, where she served as Secretary of the Committee on Foreign and Comparative Law, and of the AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers and Rome Bar Association.

She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in Italy and works in the English and Italian languages.
