Daniel V. Gsovski’s diverse practice covers a wide range of commercial,
intellectual property, antitrust and consumer protection matters, both before
judicial, administrative and arbitration tribunals throughout the nation and as
a counselor and adviser on compliance issues and transactions. As the firm’s
senior class attorney, he is among the most experienced attorneys in the nation
in the defense of class action litigation in the state and federal courts, in
all phases of such proceedings, from the trial level through all levels of the
appellate process including proceedings before the Judicial Panel on
Multidistrict Litigation. Prominent among his achievements is the defense
victory in the only nationwide action under the federal Magnuson-Moss Act ever
tried to verdict, an outcome which not only vindicated his client, a major
automobile manufacturer, but ultimately resulted in the imposition of
substantial monetary sanctions against opposing counsel. Other areas of law to
which Mr. Gsovski has litigated include constitutional and international law and
civil and employment rights and product liability.
